Just a little about myself: I am a wife of 30+ years and a mother of two beautiful girls. My oldest Katelyn works for Verizon and my youngest Isabella is in the United States Air Force. I've lived in the beautiful Hudson Valley my whole life, and have been involved in real estate field for 19 plus years now. I also have been a licensed cosmetologist since 1988. To make your buying experience as smooth as possible have a good communication with your realtor, your attorney, most of all your mortgage lender. If any one of them needs a document or leave you a voicemail get back to them as fast as possible as time is of the essence. Also if you have any questions make sure you ask them.
Make your home look bright( neutral colors and shades open for sun light). De clutter the home, make it look clean and as big as possible. Remove personal pictures on the walls. Make sure you have good communication with your realtor. Have your realtor give you a cma on the market every month so you can see if you need to drop the price. Have your realtor do an open house.
I have worked with Military members, Buyers, sellers, investors and landlords. I have mostly dealt with residential properties plus a few residential leases and Commercial leases.
There are many transaction that I could tell you about. I mostly like the first time home buyers that really are excited about getting their own home.
I was a stay at home mom and wanted to work around my children's schedule. Becoming a realtor I could work around my their schedule and bring in extra money to the house hold. I went to the local real estate association and signed up.
