When my family started our search for a home in the North Shore of Boston, we were relocating from out-of-state. Kerry and Jim walked us through the different towns, helping us to narrow our search to communities that were a good fit for schools, our price range, and proximity to my current employer as well as the industries we work in. Then they created a search even though we knew we weren't positioned to start a serious offer. They did this to narrow down prospective property types that we would consider to be a fit - this saved us time when we actual visited homes later by not selecting candidates that ultimately wouldn't fit. As we viewed houses, they were incredibly knowledgeable of the local practices for building and the watch outs for any serious structural issues - quite a feat for areas in which houses can date to well over 100 years. This is a particular strength of Kerry and Jim and important consideration for your agent selection if you are buying in Boston. Finally, they guided us every step of the way to ensure we were well prepared for the loan origination and closing. They even recommended high quality services to perform finishing touches to the home before we move in.
