Real estate began for me at home. My mother was a Realtor in Washington state and led work through CAP—the Community Action Program—where she focused on finding property that could be divided and used for self-help housing. Watching her navigate that work taught me early that real estate is less about headlines and more about details, diligence, and getting things done the right way. She saw that same precision in me and encouraged me to get licensed at 18 so I could support her as her assistant. Because I was in college at the time, real estate was also the most sensible use of my schedule—flexible enough to balance coursework, but demanding enough to build real experience in negotiation, timelines, and accountability. That foundation still shapes how I serve clients today: quietly prepared, highly organized, and attentive to the details that protect a decision long after closing.
