Kathleen Rafters

I became involved in the Real Estate Industry in 2009. I began my career while the market was hitting bottom, and many in the profession were headed for the exit! In the years since, including 2021, I have consistently ranked in the top 1 % of our MLS for both listings and buyer sales. While I am proud of these accomplishments, I am most proud of building my business through hard work, and integrity in all dealings. My intention and utmost priority is to serve my clients with the highest level of competence, respect and honesty. Through continuing education, I have earned the designations for Certified Negotiation Expert, CNE , Accredited Buyer Representative, ABR and Short Sale / Foreclosure Resource, SFR. I continue to attend many classes and seminars to keep up to date on all matters of the ever changing real estate industry. I have lived in Prescott and Chino Valley since 1988. My husband and I raised our 3 children here, and we are now watching our 5 grandchildren grow up in this fabulous community. Steve and I have owned an operated two very successful small businesses. Rafter 6 Outdoor Adventures , a trail ride and cowboy camp experience, for 7 years. Then, the Old Red Barn, a small restaurant in Chino Valley, also for 7 years. Serving customers through our businesses taught me many things, but the most important lesson: putting the interest of the client first, is key, and hard work is what makes it all come together. These are important virtues to me, and you can expect capable and proficient representation while I protect and promote your interests during and after the transaction.
