First time homebuyer, so I know very little of the process Katherine was very forthcoming in sharing her experiences purchasing similar properties, and actively looked up properties for viewing past the ones I requested. She was well informed and helped me steer away from properties with potential issues that could arise in the future. Once we settled on a potential purchase, her recommendation was to hire an inspector to look over the property since in her experience, you'd rather know about any issues before submitting an offer (something I definitely agree with). Once we were in proceedings, she went above and beyond to find out information for me for issues that came up. She would call to make sure that everyone had the same information, was on the same page, and was supportive of the decisions I made using that information. During the closing process, we had a hiccup, and while everyone else involved pushed to close regardless, she was the one who let me know that the closing should be done to my comfort level, which gave me the confidence to push the closing date until the issue was resolved. Overall, great experience working with her, and I would go to her again for future purchases

In the 3 years Ive spent researching the NYC real estate market to purchase a home, Ive never met an agent with such a fighting spirit like Katherine, Right off the bat, she was super responsive, listened to all the things I was looking for, and really made me feel safe with her expertise and guidance. For example, we had put in an offer on a condo in Prospect Lefferts and after learning more about the owner of the building, she and the excellent attorney she recommended, did not feel comfortable with the purchase and advised me to walk away. Best decision ever. Six months later, the condo is still on the market at -10% or more of the original listing price! In the end, she helped me purchase a great single family in Bay Ridge for a dream price, Its prewar, full of beautiful, classic details, and I couldnt be happier to give it a ton of TLC and call this my permanent home. Im so grateful for her patience and helping me avoid a disastrous mistake! Thank you!
