Katey Bean is the CEO, founder, and guiding light of Katey Bean & Company. Katey has been a licensed REALTOR since 2005. She completed the esteemed Graduate of REALTOR Institute degree during her first year in real estate, granting her national recognition for advanced training in the field of real estate. Katey is a 2020 Titanium, 2019 and 2018 Presidents Club Award recipient, 2015 and 2016 Platinum Circle Award Recipient, and 2013 and 2014 Gold Circle Award Recipient. In 2020, 2019, and 2018, the Twin Cities Business and Mpls St.Paul Magazine awarded her "Super Real Estate Agent". This honor is bestowed using client satisfaction and referral ratings and is only achieved by three percent of REALTORS in the Twin Cities. Katey began her career in mortgage financing where her work ethic, ambition, and entrepreneurial spirit pushed her to pursue new ventures within the field of real estate. While originating mortgages Katey co-founded a renovation company investing in vintage properties throughout the Twin Cities. As the lead agent in this role, she identified investments, purchased properties, managed multiple projects, and marketed and sold their beautiful high-end products. An entrepreneur at heart, she developed an executive-level administrative business offering support and guidance to real estate agents ready to take their businesses to the next level as well. Not only does Katey find great joy in helping her clients achieve their real estate goals, but she also finds great satisfaction in helping her colleagues grow their businesses too. Katey lives her true belief that we all do better together. Katey founded Katey Bean & Company with her now, number one focus, to help guide her clients through the planning, strategizing, excitement, and hurdles of the home-buying and selling process with the highest level of professionalism and care. Katey Bean & Company offers a uniquely comprehensive approach to the home-buying and home-selling process with experience in real estate extending far beyond the front door. Katey is passionate about hospitality, professionalism, providing concierge-level service, and exceeding expectations. Katey owns multiple single-family and commercial investment properties through the Minneapolis area and wonders which state or country might be next. While not perusing MLS....she can be found collecting seashells and snorkeling while on vacation, watching baseball games anywhere, and kayaking on Minnesota's many lakes with her husband, kids and dogs. She is a long-time supporter of The Ronald McDonald House, a charity near and dear to her heart. She was born and raised in Minneapolis and is proud to still call it home.
