I was immediately comfortable. My comfort was well placed when the property sold the first day it was listed. There were some administrative hurdles that needed to be overcome all the way through closing. I was the client and Karen and John fought for me through the end. Highly recommend.

I had to go back east to tend to my mother, and six weeks after I got back there, she was dead.Since I was her only surviving relative, I had a lot of work to do. One of the big tasks on my to-do list was emptying the house and getting it ready for sale. And finding a local real estate agent to handle the sale.Now, since I have lived in Tucson, Arizona for many years, I'm not very familiar with the real estate market in eastern Pennsylvania. I also know that, because I'm dealing with things from across the country, it's easy for unscrupulous locals to take advantage of me.This is an issue I had to deal with when managing my late parents' affairs. There were some people and organizations who I had to shoo away from my folks.A friend of my family introduced me to the Hockenberrys, and oh, am I glad they did. They referred me to reputable local people for the work that the house needed. Those guys worked with the two companies that I had hired for landscaping and general contracting, and guess what? The old family home looked better than it had in years.Then came selling time. They put the "Coming Soon" sign up before the MLS listing went live. As I write this, I'm looking up the street at a nearby property with the same kind of sign. It's looking like it could tumble into the street at any time. Believe me, this sort of thing won't happen with the Hockenberrys.Two days after they officially listed, they had an open house. Which was packed. Multiple offers followed. The house went from listed to sold in just 11 days.Wowsers. I have never experienced a real estate transaction like this before.I can't recommend the Hockenberrys enough.
