After that first purchase, she bought and renovated two additional properties in her hometown of Leicester, England and began assisting her family and friends as they worked toward achieving their own real estate goals. Before deciding to pursue a career in real estate full time, Kalav spent three decades working for local government, 17 of which were spent as a social worker and diversity trainer. This experience provided her with the listening and communications skills needed to be a strong advocate for her clients. Kalav's expert knowledge of the NYC market and inventory allow her to easily match her clients to the right home. She is passionate about every part of NYC from the people, to the architecture, to its beautiful neighborhoods and she takes great joy in sharing her love of the city with her clients. Kalav currently lives in Hell's Kitchen and in her spare time she enjoys going to the theater, working out at the gym, and taking long walks with her partner.
