We had been living in cities our whole lives and decided to move to the suburb for the 1st time ever and buy in a town we had no knowledge of. Plus, we were buying in the middle of a pandemic when New York was only in Phase I of re-opening after the shutdown in spring 2020. In short, we were overwhelmed.
