    About Juan Sebastian Pinilla

    Juan Pinilla was born in Bogota, Colombia and his family moved to North Bergen, NJ when he was just 5 years old. He has been raised in the waterfront area of New Jersey including the area of Fort Lee, Edgewater, Weehawken, Hoboken, and Jersey City. He has a thorough knowledge of public transportation, restaurant life, community events and more in these areas. Juan graduated Seton Hall university in South Orange, NJ with a double major in International relations/Diplomacy and Modern Languages. While attending Seton Hall University Juan was part of the Division 1 soccer team there. Juan's worked in the United Nations and in the Non for profit sector for Amnesty International after graduating. All this experience has given Juan a myriad of skills from communication skills, hard work-ethic, problem solving, adaptability and more! Juan is client focused, treating them with respect and value, so it is not just a transaction but a positive experience that leads to repeat customers.     Juan is very persistent in his craft ( which may come off as pushy to some at first), however my 5 star review will explain otherwise. He is not aEURoepushyaEUR? in the sense of wanting the apartment being rented, he is aEURoepersistentaEUR? in the fact that he truly cares to help get you the apartment that fits for you. Truth be told, the turnover ratio in Hoboken is so high, that apartments can basically rent themselves. Juan continued to follow up with me during the process not to get his commission check BUT rather to help me find an affordable apartment that fit my needs. Juan will be my next agent when searching for another spot anywhere. HIGHLY Recommend!

He came prepared to the apartment viewings with a folder and printout of details for each place. He was also quick to respond when I asked him any questions via email and text. I ultimately chose a place he recommended to me. Overall, Juan made the process very easy for me, from finding a place to coordinating with the landlord with the lease / forms.
