ZillowVERIFIEDJosh has helped me buy multiple properties and sell one. Each time he was efficient, helpful, and willing to take the time to explain the bigger picture to me. In this most recent purchase I had more constraints or "needs" than past purchases, which made our search a little more difficult, on an also-difficult compressed timeline. Josh stayed at it, matched my urgency, and willingly adopted my priorities. Whether you're new to the area or a longtime resident, you will not ever regret working with Josh in a real estate transaction. Period.

ZillowVERIFIEDAll-around a terrible experience. My first impression of Josh Lavik was that he was extremely unknowledgeable. When we went to see houses he did not have any printouts or information on the houses. Didn't even know where the property lines were, didn't know basic information about the houses. We asked for a plat map and any basic information on the home we were interested in, which he never provided.I was also made extremely uncomfortable by the way he stared at me and looked at me up and down, which was noticed by my partner as well. When we entered into negotiations he resorted to insults, demeaning and extreme statements. I was shocked at his incredibly unprofessional behavior. We had an inspection done and he accused the inspector of lying and making up and exaggerating defects. This inspector was very knowledgeable and competent. Josh Lavik made it very clear that he is very self-interested and will do whatever it takes to ensure things go his way, even if that means resorting to unethical behavior.I will never ever work with this person again and would absolutely not recommend him to anyone.

Cortney treated me as if I wasnt serious, made a contract exclusively for the 1 listing, and when the seller denied my offer, I never heard anything from Cortney or Lavik team, ever again. Ghosted. Not even a follow up. As a potential customer, this is some of the rudest and most unprofessional service Ive experienced. Dont waste your time at on Lavik or Cortney, they will act as if your a dime a dozen.
