FAQ
1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
The first step is to talk with an agent about your home search and make a plan for how to buy the right home for your needs today and in the future.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Talk with your agent about what to do to prepare your home. It is very easy for sellers to spend money on "improvements" to their homes that don't actually get a monetary return on investment.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
I've worked with a broad range of clients from first time buyers to investors who sell dozens of homes a year. The most important aspect of working together is to share values. We know that working with clients that share our values makes everyone's experience better.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
FastExpert.com referred a seller to me and we talked for nearly two years before she was ready to actually sell. When she did, it went smoothly and quickly. She has since worked with me to buy another home and referred several friends. She's just a wonderful woman.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
I started in 1999 before the real estate market took off in the 2000's. It was a natural fit for me because it allows me to help clients in situations when they are in the midst of one of the biggest decisions of their lives. It's so rewarding to see clients finish their transactions with smiles, gratitude and the comfort of knowing they made the right decision for themselves and their family.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Having served in so many roles in the real estate business and volunteered for so many positions i have a unique set of experiences that helps my clients understand the process of buying and selling better. In addition, I have received extra training from the National Trust for Historic Preservation in how to work with historic properties.

Joe really deserves to be mentioned as one of the best agents in the area. He is incredibly knowledgeable about houses and how they are built, what materials are used and what is a fair price for the house. He is also very knowledgeable about home technology, what to do and who to ask and gave us the best recommendations. His expertise helped us make informed decisions throughout the process. Very professional, thorough and dedicated, highly recommended.

I highly recommend Joe and the team at Best Address Group. I am a first time home buyer who had a lot of questions and wanted to see a lot of places before I made my choices. Joe talked me through many of good answers and clarifications. He took me to see lots of properties in many areas as I was narrowing my search. He was patient and thorough, giving me the guidance I needed in a tough housing market. Once I found the house I wanted, Joe coached me through an effective offer strategy. I successfully purchased the first house I put in an offer on! After my offer was accepted, I got a lot of valuable guidance and support from Joe and Rosemary to get me through a speedy and efficient closing process. Throughout everything the whole team was pleasant, professional, and made a stressful process easier whenever possible. I can't say enough good things about Best Address Group and Joe Himali.

Joe came highly recommended from close friends, and we couldn't be happier with the support, expertise and guidance he provided us in selling our house. He quickly established himself as a trusted advisor in helping us develop a plan to prepare our home for sale. We were open about our limited experience in real estate transactions, and he never tired of answering our questions and proactively explaining the sometimes arcane details one needs to navigate. It is impossible to imagine a team more dedicated, proactive, patient, knowledgeable and experienced in guiding you through buying or selling, in any market. At every stage of the process: strategizing when would be the best time to sell within our desired window, cost-benefit analysis of how best to prepare the property, connecting us with solid contractors to do the work, taking care of innumerable details behind the scenes, launching, contract negotiation, and going above and beyond to follow up on every conceivable detail. It truly was an incredible privilege to work with Joe and his team!

Joe Himali is the BEST! Approximately 16 years ago, Joe helped me purchase my first condominium on Connecticut Avenue in Washington, DC, and, recently, helped me sell it. Let's just say that I could not have done it without his assistance and expertise. I wanted to sell quickly, and he made it happen. Very professional and well connected, his advice on contractors (and a wonderful moving company!) helped expedite the transaction. I was also impressed with his knowledge of historic, pre-war buildings in the area. You cannot go wrong using Joe and his dedicated staff for your real estate needs. I highly recommend!
