Jose Medina

Since formally launching his real estate career in 2013, award-winning agent Jose J. Medina has drawn upon his banking and mortgage background to bolster his professional services while embracing his passion for helping people find homes. Before establishing Chez Realty, Jose had already earned a solid industry reputation. He ranked among the top 0.5% agents nationally at his previous brokerage and became the first in his region to climb the ladder from senior agent to listing specialist in just four years. Originally from Puerto Rico but raised in Miami, Jose credits his discipline to his childhood military academy training and subsequent banking career. He joined a credit union fresh out of high school, later transitioning into commercial banking before becoming an independent licensed mortgage broker. Jose's segue into real estate resulted from a chance opportunity that morphed into a personal mission for him, for he often moved as a kid and endured numerous school changes and fleeting friendships. More than anything, Jose wants to help people plant roots and forge lifelong friendships in their neighborhoods. In Spanish and English, Jose represents many young professionals purchasing their first home or upgrading to align with their career trajectories. He also assists empty nesters and those moving to South Florida from out of state or moving away for new opportunities or to be closer to family. But no matter whom Jose serves, he does it through his dependability, authenticity, drive, and high ethical standards. His adaptive mindset and extensive network of professionals are sure to make the process not only attainable but warm, easy, and transparent. Jose sits on the board of directors of the South Florida chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP). NAHREP is the country's largest Hispanic trade association that promotes sustainable Hispanic homeownership.
