When I decided to move to South Mississippi, I called a very good friend who is a resident of Diamondhead and she said I had to call Jon Ritten. From our first conversation, I knew he was going to be the perfect choice. Jon and I visited over the phone and he listened to my aEURoemust havesaEUR?, my budget and what I was looking for in a aEURoecommunity. Jon sent me 50 possible properties, we narrowed my search to 10 and, within a week, I traveled to Gulfport/Diamondhead to view all of them in one day. Jon cleared his schedule to meet my needs. I met Jon and immediately knew I was in great hands. After viewing my top 10, I knew when I found the right one and, by the end of that same day, I made my offer. As a first time home owner, and, at the ripe old age of 66, this was big deal for me and Jon took my journey very seriously. Over the next three weeks, Jon was my partner, recommending the best home insurer, finance company, inspector, home concierge, etc., and put me in touch with water/sewer, power company and all of the various vendors I needed in advance of my closing. Most important he guided me through the negotiation of my offer with the seller and came to the best deal for me and my budget. We spoke long distance at least 50 times and, I have to say, every time he was extremely responsive, positive and was more of a friend than a contractor or vendor. Within three weeks of contacting Jon, we went to closing (which was seamless!) and three days later, I moved from Atlanta to my dream home in Diamondhead. Melanie was great!!! We knew what school district we wanted to be in so our options were limited due to location, but she showed us houses and properties and gave us pros and cons for all. We spent a few weeks working out contracts and finances with a house but it fell through (for the better). She helped us with options and we ended up finding a property. Bought a home from a dealership, but she was with us for the entire process to the end. This just speaks to her commitment to making sure that we were well taken care of. Thank you so much, Melanie!
