ZillowVERIFIEDI am relocating to Charlotte from the NYC metropolitan area, and due to the distance and the pandemic, my house-hunting was entirely done remotely. As part of my research on Charlotte real estate, I watched several Charlotte-based realtors YouTube videos, including Jons. I ended up calling Jon because he seemed both knowledgeable and pleasant to work with, and it turned out I was 100% correct on both counts.Jons integrity is exemplary, and he consistently put my interests above his own. For example, there were several houses I was initially interested in (including ones that were more expensive than the house I ended up buying) with flaws which were not readily apparent from the web listings that he pointed out, based on his professional expertise and additional research into the properties. While he provided a plethora of information, including lists of attorneys and other service providers, he also always encouraged me to do my own due diligence.Jon was instrumental in crafting a winning offer on a house in a competitive market, guiding me through the process to determine the offer price that I was comfortable with, as well as utilizing strategies to make my offer - outside of sales price - stronger. He stayed in constant contact every step of the way, keeping me informed of what needed to be done when, and helping ensure that everything went smoothly as possible. Nothing ever fell through the cracks. He shot detailed walkthrough videos for me (including right before closing) which helped me make my decision and set my mind at ease about the condition of my home, in addition to coordinating inspections, surveys, etc. Thanks to him, my closing was both smooth and on time. If you are looking for a realtor who tramples over your boundaries or spins stories made of unicorn horns and angel dust, then Jon is *not* the realtor for you. On the other hand, if you are looking for someone who is professional, organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and kind, who will walk with you through the entire process, I cannot recommend Jon enough.

Everyone has certain values they want in a realtor, ours was somone we could trust to be open, honest and straightforward about the process which is exactly what we got in Jon. He answered every question we had, was easy to get ahold of and got us a great price on our new house and selling our current home. Providing us with current market data helped know we were getting a good deal on both ends of the transaction.
