About Jon Long

Jon has been involved in real estate since graduating from UW-Stevens Point in 2005 and moving to Tomahawk, Wisconsin. Starting his real estate career as a land sales research analyst, Jon has been looking at sale trends and studying the market his entire professional career. After working as a land sales research analyst, Jon moved onto work as an appraisal assistant. While working on appraisals, Jon discovered his love for all things real estate,especially helping people buy and sell real estate! With a degree in Natural Resource Management and minors in Natural Science, Environmental Law, and Business, specializing inland sales was a natural fit. Jon has been hunting and fishing since he was able to walk and uses that knowledge and passion to match up the right piece of property for each person. Jon has closed thousands of acres of land deals ranging from small lots to large investment tracts of forestland as well as selling homes, waterfront parcels, cabins and commercial properties in the northwoods. For the investor, Jon has experience in not only timber investments, but commercial and residential investments too. Whether you are looking to invest, looking for your first home, or looking for that special cottage on the lake, Jon can help. Jon and his wife Melissa, reside in Tomahawk with their four daughters, Annabel, Gracie, Madeline, and Elizabeth. When Jon is not out showing property, you will often find him taking his girls out fishing, hiking, hunting, camping, or playing sports. In the fall, Jon coaches the Tomahawk High School Football Team. Jon also volunteers for the local Ruffed Grouse Society Chapter as well as being active in the community.
