About John Madron

After a lifetime of visiting and loving everything Steamboat Springs, in 2020 John made his dream a reality and decided to call Steamboat home. Prior to that, John lived in Summit County for 22 years, 18 of which he spent helping clients purchase and sell Colorado mountain/ resort real estate. John is very passionate and thankful to live in Steamboat Springs with his Golden Retriever, Molly. He likes to take advantage of all of the recreational activities that the area has to offer (with Molly by his side), including hiking, biking, skiing, rafting, paddle boarding and playing the mandolin, to name a few. If it involves water, a trail, music or volunteering within the community, John is all in. John takes pride in placing his client's interests first while providing a superior level of informed and professional real estate services to buyers and sellers. John sold our house in Lakewood, CO and we got more $$$ than we thought we would! He was very professional and always responded to us immediately, even at night. I recently worked with John Madron for my purchase of a condo in Keystone. Prior to this purchase, I had been researching the market for quite some time and had compiled an extensive list of requirements for the ideal property. When my condo was listed, I contacted John and he immediately toured the property, and quickly created a video and 3D tour so I could get a true picture of it (as I could not view the property in person immediately). My work schedule can be tough, and John was extremely accommodating (emails/texts, calls after working hours, and meeting me on the weekend to tour the property). Throughout the negotiation and closing process, John was very responsive, patient with my questions (no question was too dumb!), and made my purchase feel special. While the property was not new, it was "new to me", and John went above and beyond to make sure my interests as a buyer were protected and that my closing was as smooth as possible. In addition, John proactively worked with my lender and listing agent to facilitate closing a full week early, which was an unexpected bonus (i.e. a few extra days to hit the slopes!). I'd highly recommend John for any Summit County real estate needs, especially those looking for their perfect mountain getaway!

John was there to show us properties when we were able to be in town and was very kind to let us see MANY properties with our 2 children in tow. He answered all calls and emails quickly and helped us to close earlier than expected. Highly recommended!
