1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
First step I would suggest is to spend time securing your financing to determine what your purchase price is. What you are approved for and what you are comfortable spending may be two different amounts.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Give away put away and through away decluttere. You may want to have your own home inspection from a licensed home inspector to get an idea of issues you may not be aware of.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
My preference is first time home buyers, but to answer your question after 14+ years as a agent I have worked with all kinds young not so young middle aged investors. At one point I went through a period where the majority of my clients were from various branches of the military and that was very exciting to me having grown up as the son of a soldier.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
Representing a young couple that almost gave up hope due to market conditions being so competitive. After lousing out on the first couple of homes I was able to encourage them as to not give up hope and hang in there. Sure enough they did and were very satisfied in the end or I should say there new beginning
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
I was in between jobs from a union I was a member of and this was something I always wanted to try so I took the course studied and passed the test and never looked back.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
In my first five years I would acquire a designation that is an advanced study in a particular area of real estate. For example my first one was CBR certified buyer repersenitive then e-pro electronic professional which taught me a better understanding of marketing with the internet GRI is a graduate of the Real Estate Institute this is a very involved designation that very few agents would spend the time and money to acquire it is like multiple designation wrapped into one.

To other buyers, stay away from those agents who are doing inside jobs as being the selling and buying agents at the same time. He will tell you everything GOOD nothing bad about the local knowledge, process and response very quickly, and pretend negotiating for you to the sellers, but merely to make a higher price so benefit himself more.
