About John Brady

John grew up in Montauk, graduated in 1996 from East Hampton High School, and attended SUNY Maritime College Merchant Marines to study mechanical engineering. Prior to his real estate career, John and his wife, Paty Brady, owned a marketing company in Mexico. A consistently top producer since entering real estate in 2006, John has been noticed in the Fox Business Channel with Neil Cavuto, BBC, Crain's Business, Financial Times, New York Post, London Daily Telegraph, Hamptons.com, Dan's Paper, The Independent, East Hampton Star, Social Life magazine, and the front page of The Southampton Press, as well as having been featured in Hamptons Real Estate Showcase magazine. John studies the real estate market like a stock broker studies stocks. He says, As an expert, it is my responsibility to know the numbers. John is a firm believer that you can't truly know your market unless you work all aspects of the market. This includes new construction, luxury homes, land, and developments, first time homebuyer programs and financing, foreclosure (REO) and short sales (default servicing). John is knowledgeable about all of them. Since 2006 he has been responsible for 50 to 70 new transactions every year (compared to the national average of 4 to 6 transactions per agent per year). Outside of his real estate endeavors, John enjoys spending time with his family, sailing, and studying classical piano. He and his team are based in Saunders' East Hampton & Westhampton Beach offices.

We were selling our house in East Hampton long distance from Seattle, WA. After interviewing several agents by phone and then in person, we were impressed with John Bradys work ethic. John proved to be invaluable. He checked on the house during the winter months and after discovering a leaky window, helped find a reputable contractor and made the logistics work. He did similarly with other projects that needed to be done prior to closing. He is trustworthy, honest and just a really good person. I would highly recommend him.

John is extremely knowledgable, personable and an insanely hard worker. He went above and beyond to help get me and my kids through a shortsale. He also did more than any one should have to do for any sale because along with the shortsale was a separation and the other half of the separation was not always available for signatures or information and John would go and find, get or meet him to get the needed items. It was a confusing process with, banks, mortgage companies, lawyers, a separation and children involved. I appreciated everything John did to help us through and get to the other side of this sale.
