Jocelyn O'Rourke-Shane

As a young girl, I was interested in run down homes and would envision what I could do to improve them. I attended Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts where I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business. Shortly after, I purchased my first home which was previously bank owned. Within two years, I purchased another home. This was a three family house in need of renovations. I worked on many renovations myself. It was at this time that I realized that real estate was one of my main interests. I held positions in sales and management while my passion for real estate grew. It wasn't until several years later, after a few more sales and purchases, that I joined a local real estate company. I decided I had learned a great deal investing in real estate for myself and I wanted to share my knowledge of real estate investments with others. I attend local house auctions and I am always keeping my eyes open for homes that carry great value. Since entering the Real Estate Industry in 2002, my career has soared even during these slow economic times due to my hard work and dedication. I have achieved " Broker of the YearaEUR? awards and have been awarded for having the " Highest Number of Transactions Sides SoldaEUR? 10 years in a row. These are just a few of the many awards I have earned over the years. I started a team in 2008 with Cathy Dodge. Kamal Perkins joined us in 2013 and Pauline Flagg joined us in 2014. I merged my team in 2017 with Anne Plummer & Associates creating Maine Real Estate Choice, one of the strongest real estate companies in the Lakes Region. It is my commitment to share my knowledge, hands on experience and integrity with my perspective clients to reach their real estate goals.
