Real estate is my full-time job! I love helping all buyers and sellers realize their dreams. It often starts with a meeting to discuss their goal and dreams. Sometimes it takes a bit of counseling to make sure everyone is comfortable with the process of getting pre-approved, looking at homes or getting a home ready to sell, negotiating, getting through the inspections, and on to a successful closing! When not working at my real estate job I enjoy working out (lifting more weight now as my running days are behind me); traveling with my husband; spending time with my daughters, son-in-law and three beautiful grandkids. Take me to the beach or the mountains and it's hard to get me to leave.

Honestly, first step is to meet with a lender. This will give the buyer a better understanding of what they can afford and also provides an upper hand in negotiations when they can provide a pre-approval.
Meet with a realtor who can explain the current market situation, give advice on how best to "show" the home, provide professional photos and marketing, and who will do all she can to get the house sold.

Very fond of helping a wonderful young couple who saved their money, studied the market, were reasonable about what they could afford, and had vision for what a little bit of work would to do to make a house their "home".
Back in Columbus, Ohio a friend had a growing real estate team and she asked me to help with her marketing. While there I got my license and began helping buyers. Once here in Lincoln I also adding listing agent to my resume.
My journalism background helps me in the marketing. But mostly it's my "can do" attitude and willingness to do what it takes that has helped me succeed.
