Her passion and connection to real estate started from an early age when her mother worked for a home developer assisting clients with building custom homes and then opening her own real estate brokerage. After 15+ years of corporate marketing in Florida and New York City, and appreciating the process of purchasing a home in Northern New Jersey, JoAn obtained her real estate license. She is a University of South Florida graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing & minor in Finance. JoAn currently holds the following designations in real estate (SRS - Sellers Representative Specialist, PSA - Pricing Strategy Advisor, C2EX - Commitment to Excellence) while currently serving as the Marketing Director for the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) Union Essex Chapter, Chairperson for the North Central Jersey Association of Realtors Young Professional Network (NCJAR YPN) Committee, and a member of the Montclair Landlord Tenant Advisory Council. Social causes JoAn is most passionate about include eliminating food waste to fight global hunger and promoting policies that foster open, accessible, and inclusive communities, strengthening enforcement of fair housing laws. JoAn often supports and volunteers with organizations to support these causes including New Jersey Coalition to End Homelessness and Rescuing Leftover Cuisine.
