I had been dreading the home-buying process but a friend recommended Joan Pratt and her team and she really helped to put me at ease. When we first started, I was unsure of what and where I wanted to buy and she was very helpful in helping me identify the type of home and districts that would be best for me. As we put offers on houses, I was growing impatient and frustrated at the housing market but she was very patient and provided support and encouragement to stay the course. Lastly, when I finally found a house I feel like she negotiated extremely well and helped me to get a great deal without overpaying. My family moved from out of state, and Joan took the time to show us properties in many different neighborhoods and guided us to find the right home. She went above and beyond in a tough market with low inventory by reaching out to former clients and owners of off-market properties to try to make inventory for us. She is very knowledgable about all aspects of house construction and pointed out things to us that were helpful in our decision making. We never felt pressured to buy anything.
