About Jim Lunsford

Jim's professional journey began when he received his insurance license in 2007 and started working as an AFLAC agent. After gaining experience in the insurance field, Jim developed an interest in real estate and began working behind the scenes at Prudential Hickory Metro to learn more about the industry. In 2010, Jim made the transition to working as a full-time REALTOR® at Prudential Hickory Metro Real Estate. His experience in the insurance industry and sales management gave him a unique perspective on the financial and investment aspects of real estate, which he has used to help his clients make informed decisions. In October 2014, Jim moved to the Wilmington, NC area, where he has continued to specialize in serving the New Hanover & Brunswick Counties in North Carolina, and Horry County in South Carolina. As a Broker in Charge for North & South Carolina at NorthGroup Real Estate LLC since June 2021, Jim is dedicated to providing the latest innovations in marketing and technology to his clients. I have dealt with quite a few realtors over the years, and I would say my experience with Jim was about average. I cant really say anything bad about him, but theres not a lot good to say either. Often when I would call him he wouldnt answer and it might take a day or two for him to return my call. It was like I was bothering him and he wanted to do the least as possible. I hate dealing with any sales people, especially realtors. In the end he got the job done so I guess if you need a realtor he is probably as good as any.

Im a very picky person, Jim went above and beyond helping my family with our house buying experience! We looked at over 200 homes before we finally found our home.
