She is incredible and lovely and we could not have been luckier in having her as our agent. We were first-time homebuyers, and honestly had no idea what to expect?especially in today?s competitive and complicated market. I truly don?t know if we would have managed it without someone as knowledgeable, supportive, responsive, and patient as Jill. The best part was that she was all of these things with a great sense of humor to boot. Search: We were not tied to one particular location in our search, we only had general thoughts about where, and had more or less specific guidelines about the type of house we wanted. This meant that we were requesting showings all over the place, and were looking at all different types of houses. Jill built out our schedule and came to every single showing?no matter where it was. For each house, Jill would give us totally objective feedback and let us draw our own conclusions about each property, but would immediately give us good, expert advice the moment she was asked. Even when the house was a total miss (and what we considered a waste of time), she would reassure us that sometimes you have to see what you don?t like to find out what you really want. Submitting Offers: When putting offers in on homes, Jill was amazing. We had no idea where to begin, but she was there for us to consult at any time. She helped us to build competitive offers and provided good, honest advice on expectations as well as when to be cautious vs. more aggressive in our bids. She also kept us updated on counteroffers and decisions by the seller practically in real time. Most importantly, when things didn?t go our way and our bid was rejected, she was there to prop us back up and get us back on the search. The genuine care and support Jill had for us, knowing how demoralizing it was to lose a house you really wanted, was probably one of the greatest factors in us persevering and actually getting a home. Buying: When our offer was accepted on what is truly our dream home, we were so nervous but utterly confident in Jill guiding us through the process. She provided names and contacts for inspectors, loan officers, anyone and everyone we would need to make it happen. She made sure that every next step was accomplished and went above and beyond to make sure the deal went through. When our bank requested a well water test at the eleventh hour for financing, not only did Jill immediately rush over to the house to get the samples, but also contacted the health department and the water testing company to get the verifications and make absolutely sure the test would be sufficient for the bank to approve. We are so incredibly grateful to Jill for all that she has done for us. Not only did we have a great agent, but we feel that we gained a friend in the process. I?m not saying that you should hire Jill to get a friend out of the deal, but I am saying you should hire her because she is truly the best. If you want someone who is an expert, available, and who can make a stressful experience navigable, then you need to hire Jill. Thank you Jill!
