FAQ
1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Get educated early and surround yourself with the right professionals. Understanding your budget, financing options, and the local market before you fall in love with a home gives you confidence and leverage. I always encourage buyers to focus on what truly matters long-term (location, layout, resale value) rather than getting distracted by cosmetic details that can be changed later. A smart strategy beats emotional bidding every time.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Preparation and pricing are everything. Homes that are properly prepared, priced accurately from day one, and marketed strategically almost always outperform the rest. I advise sellers to view their home as a product for a brief moment, decluttering, minor repairs, and thoughtful presentation can significantly impact value. Transparency and flexibility also go a long way toward smooth negotiations and strong offers.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
I’ve worked with a wide range of clients, including first-time home buyers, move-up buyers, investors, military families, seniors downsizing, second-home buyers, and sellers at all price points. Many of my clients are navigating major life transitions, and I take pride in offering steady guidance and clear communication throughout the process, no pressure, just informed decision-making.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
One of my favorite recent transactions involved helping a buyer secure a home in a competitive market where timing and strategy were critical. We navigated inspections thoughtfully, kept communication respectful and professional on all sides, and ultimately reached a win-win outcome. What stood out most was how calm and confident my client felt throughout the process, that’s always the goal.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
I got into real estate out of a genuine interest in homes, people, and problem-solving. What began as curiosity quickly turned into a career once I realized how impactful good representation can be during one of the biggest financial decisions people make. Over the years, my business has grown primarily through referrals, which I consider the highest compliment.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Yes. I’m a licensed Realtor® in Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts with over eight years of experience. I hold multiple professional designations, including Certified Real Estate Negotiator (CREN), Military Relocation Professional (MRP), Commercial Investment Real Estate Certification (CIREC) and Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR). I’m also a Notary Public in RI. Beyond formal training, my clients benefit from my strong local market knowledge, attention to detail, and a process-driven approach that prioritizes clarity and protection at every step.

I purchased a home in Westerly RI in May of 2025 with the help and expertise of Jessica Gardner. She is extremely knowledgeable and resourceful. She kept me on track and didnt miss a beat with the buyer process! I feel lucky to have had her as my realtor. She even connected me with a painter, a garbage vender and a yard and plow person to help me settle into and maintain my new wonderful home in Westerly!! I would recommend her to anyone in a heart beat! Thank you Jessica!! You are a gem of a realtor!

Jessica was excellent to work with as a first-time home buyer! She was very friendly and helpful, walking me through the process and answering all of my (sometimes very basic) questions. She was very responsive and arranged showings nearly immediately whenever we decided on a property to look at. She was knowledgeable about the market and the realistic value of the properties we looked at. I recommended her to my mother when she moved last summer, and they worked great together. Definitely recommend!

Jessica is a highly knowledgeable and extremely dedicated real estate professional and I would recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell their home! Jessica has helped me with selling and buying over the last few years and she went above and beyond in both transactions. She worked tirelessly to help us find our perfect house and when it came time to sell our old home, her marketing and staging efforts helped us get several offers that were well above asking price.

Moving from another state and buying a house can be so nerve-wracking, to say the least. But Jessica was more than just a realtor. She was a constant support, always there for us. She answered all our questions, made sure we were always up to date, took care of all the paperwork, and negotiated the deal for us. She made us feel like we were more to her than just her clients. Thank you, Jessica, for making our dreams come true!
