He grew up working on a grain farm in Breckenridge MN from which he learned the value of hard work. Early on he knew that he wanted to help people and wanted to make a difference. So, in 1993, he received his degree in Occupational Therapy and began helping people recover from ailments and injuries. Through the years he also developed an affinity for real estate. In 2003, he obtained his real estate license and began the journey of helping people with their real estate needs. The way he helps people may have changed, but the desire and drive to make a difference in people's lives has not. He currently lives in Coon Rapids with his wife Lynda and their Dachshund Saddie Together they have 4 children and 3 grandchildren. In his free time he loves to be outside. He can often be found cooking on the grill, hanging out with family/friends, going on bike rides, and visiting local parks. Jeremy and his wife also like trying out new restaurants and local hot spots and taking in community events. They love to travel and try to get to at least one new place each year. Jeremy is always excited when he can get back to his family land to enjoy the beauty and nature it beholds. Whether it's riding the trails, hunting, fishing or seeing how the crops are looking for the year.

1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Getting pre-approved for a mortgage is the most important thing you can do. Then you know how much home you can afford, where you want your budget to be. You will also know what types of financing you qualify for so that you know what types of homes will work for you. If you don't know where to find a good lender, I work with many excellent lenders that I can refer to you.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Appearance and curb appeal matters. Taking care of the little things is also very important so that a buyer sees all of the "good" in the home and not the things they need to fix or change. De-cluttering a home is a huge help. Some buyers just do not have the vision to see past all of the "stuff". They may be the perfect buyer for your home but if they get stuck on the clutter, they will move onto the next one.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
I primarily work with residential sales.
First time seller, Seasoned Seller, Investment Seller. Sellers needing to relocate. Empty nester's. In town, country properties, lake properties, townhomes, recreational property. I sell raw land as well. I have sold Duplex and 4 plex as well.
Buyers: First time buyer, Relocation buyer, Investment buyer. Senior Citizen that is needing to downsize or move into Assisted Living situation.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I recently helped a buyer client of mine get into a great property that he really wanted. It had all of the features he was looking for. The journey had started 2 years prior. He needed to clean up some things to be approved for the loan he was looking for. He did his due diligence, and once we started looking, we found his perfect property within 2 weeks. Getting to see peoples goals, and dreams come true is the absolute reward and why I continue to do this.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
I was in the health care field and was needing a change. I already had an interest in homes and architecture of homes as I had been in/out of many of my clients homes over the years. So Real Estate seemed to be a good fit. Many years later I'm loving what I do! I still get to help people achieve their goals and that is the most rewarding part of my job!
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
20 years in Occupational Therapy has given me an eye for function and flow of a home. I can help people see the potential in a home if they may need to adapt a home to their needs/wants. My care and compassion for people also spills over into Real Estate as buying or selling can be a very emotional event. I like to think that I make the situation go smoother for my clients and help them reach their goal, even though there may be some bumps and bruises along the way.
