This review is WAY overdue! The best of the best....Jeff and Julie Moran! They truly are OCs FAVORITE Husband and Wife Team! They rocked it for us when they sold our home and helped us buy our new home, cant thank them enough. They had suggestions for us on how to make our home ready to sell and we followed their exact instructions and our house looked wonderful, so great that we received multiple offers which they negotiated hard for us and we sold for a very high price. Purchasing a home oftentimes has a tight window of opportunity. You have to be mindful of the homes available, schedule a time to see the prospective property, and hastily submit an offer. It?s particularly discouraging when you have your heart set on your potential dream home only to have your agent missing in action when it comes time to submit the paperwork. Rest assured, this was never the case with Jeff and Julie Moran at OC Roots. Jeff and Julie are dependable. They always got back to us quickly and answered the plethora of questions we had in search of our first home. We had worked with another agent a few years back and came to understand the importance of working with a team who could be nimble in showing us properties on short-notice while also being empathetic to our preferences and tastes. Even amidst COVID-19, they were still willing to schedule property walkthroughs with us, which was beyond our expectations. We appreciated that they were there every step of the way and valued their expertise when it came to choosing the right home. We wanted to work with Jeff and Julie because of their knowledge of the Southern Orange County area. Growing up in San Diego County, we were unfamiliar with many of the neighborhoods. Jeff and Julie both grew up in the area and knew Orange County like the back of their hands. For as much research on available properties as we did, they were always able to quickly pinpoint our tastes and distill the properties we would?ve spent hours trying to find otherwise. The home buying process is inevitably a roller coaster ride but working with Jeff and Julie made it enjoyable. We also chose Jeff and Julie because of their network. They immediately put us in touch with their preferred real estate brokers and we had an estimate of our mortgage rate within a few days. After finding our home, they introduced us to their preferred vendors for various inspections and helped us coordinate with them. We never had any doubt that Jeff and Julie would find us our home - they?re well-established here in the Orange County community and have a lengthy track record of helping others find their homes too. We?re grateful we had the opportunity to work with them and wouldn?t hesitate to work with them again - they?re good people and we felt well-taken care of from start-to-finish.

This was my fiance and Is first home purchase, so we were totally uninformed about the entire process, and Jeff and Julie walked us through every step of the way. Everything Ive heard about purchasing a home sounded so stressful, but they made it an exciting and fun process for us. We were both new to the area, but they knew the ins and outs of every neighborhood in South Orange County. I feel like we got a great understanding of the different cities and neighborhoods and were able to pinpoint the right place for us to purchase a home. In addition to being familiar with the neighborhoods, I could tell that they stayed very on top of what was on the market at the moment. From our feedback on open houses and conversations with them, I feel they truly understood what we were looking for in a home and helped us tailor our search until we found the perfect home. We were in direct contact with Julie almost constantly during our search, and she always responded almost immediately (and thoroughly). When we found our house, we let her know immediately, and she JUMPED on it. We visited during an Open House, and she even made the time to go to the house the same day to see it for herself. Within a day we were already beginning the process of putting in our offer. Overall, they made this process so fun and took the time to get to know us. Even after our home purchase, Julie checked in on us several times, even bringing gifts for our dog and offering to order us pizza during the move-in. If you are a first-time buyer (or anyone really), Id highly recommend going with Jeff and Julie! You wont find someone more informed and friendly.
