Hi, I'm Jeanne Crum. I am a full-time licensed Realtor in Connecticut and Rhode Island. I have worked in the real estate industry for over 25 years. I am a native of Windham Center and a Columbia resident for 25 years. I represent sellers of all types of property, including investment property, residential, condominiums, farms, and horse property. I offer buyer representation for real estate buyers including, first time buyers, move up buyers, investors, and retirees.
I reside on my farm in Columbia with my husband Chris, our dog Cooper, chickens, and horses. In my free time I travel to Westerly, Rhode Island where I can relax and hang out at the beach with friends and family and search for the perfect second home for a client. I am most known for my down to earth, easy going and approachable style. Jeanne was incredibly helpful throughout the selling process. I needed to get contractors to make repairs and Jeanne was able to connect me with all the different contractors that I needed. This summer I finally decided to sell the condo that I called home for 35 years. Although I still owned the condo, I already had moved 2000 miles away. I had received numerous standard post cards from different realtors wanting to list my property and usually I threw them out. One piece of mail caught my attention, as there was an actual letter from the realtor, along with comps from 3 other condos attached. The realtor was Jeanne from Home Selling Team. I made a phone call and had a pleasant conversation with Jeanne. When we finally met, I knew i had found the person to help me sell my home. Jeanne was warm, friendly, energetic and a pleasure to work with. She was very knowledgeable and took away any fears associated with the stress of selling. She brought in a talented photographer who showcased my property, held a well attended open house, and within a week I had signed a contract above my asking price. I had the opportunity to work with Jeanne Crum who served as my realtor for the sale of my mothers home in Chaplin, CT after she passed away in September of 2022. Shortly after my mothers passing and working through the emotions of the loss, I also needed to begin my duties as the executor of her estate, navigating through complex waters without the ability to put the rest of my normal life on hold. As I thought about the process of preparing and ultimately selling my mothers home, I was very concerned that it just might be too overwhelming for me to handle. Thankfully, Jeanne came highly recommended to me from the attorney I had retained for assistance with the legal affairs of the estate, and I could not agree more with that recommendation. Jeanne led me not just through the typical steps of selling the home via her years of experience and knowledge of the area aEUR" she also tailored that guidance by presenting it in a way that I would be able to process during times of high stress and anxiety.
