Jayson has helped us both with purchasing a new home and with selling our home. Jayson was always available when we had a question (even while he was on vacation in Alaska). I did not know Jayson prior to a chance meeting at a house for sale near our own in January 2011. My wife and I were considering putting our house on the market sometime during the year, but had not yet decided to go ahead with it. After meeting with Jayson, his confidence and honesty convinced us to list our home with him. He didn't make promises on the price he could sell the home for, he told us how he planned to price and market our home and what factors would go into reducing the price, should it become necessary (which it later did). He even promised he would have our house under contract within 45 days of being listed--which he did on EXACTLY the 45th day! Our home sale & subsequent purchase was one of the most stressful times of our lives. Our first buyer backed out three days after going under contract (and then purchased a home one street away!!!) Our second buyer had problems with obtaining financing, and the closing date kept getting moved back. In the meantime, Jayson helped us find an UNBELIEVABLE, beautiful home that had been in foreclosure in an area we wanted to live. It needed some work, but it was incredibly undervalued and Jayson helped us through the process of getting it under contract and the entire purchase process--that was further complicated by the uncertainty involved in our own house sale. FINALLY, our own house sale went through and THEN a title problem popped up with the house we were trying to buy which delayed the purchase by an additional two weeks. Through all this process Jayson kept us up-to-date on what was going on, what were the different options we had, and what might be more likely to happen depending on what we chose to do. I felt like he was never pushy about what we ought to do next and that I was always in charge of what was going to happen. I never felt like he was just in it for the commission on either the sale side or purchase side of the process. One night, after another problematic evening during the purchase process, he reached into his own wallet & sent my wife & I off to dinner. A small gesture that meant a lot, especially that night. I felt like every time our agent needed to negotiate with the other agent, we were going come out ahead in the end. What more can you ask for from an agent?
