ZillowVERIFIEDMy home sale was unusual in that a neighbor had approached me with an offer, knowing that I might be getting ready to put the house on the market. We had struck a hand-shake deal on price and terms before we approached Alex Mendoza with a proposal for dual representation. As the sale did not require listing or showing the home, we were able to negotiate a reasonable fee for the copious document wrangling involved in a home sale. Alex put together an offer package for the buyer and helped them coordinate with their mortgage lender -- and he guided me through the acceptance process and provided me with a document package for my execution which ensured I had met all the legal obligations of a home seller. Alex stayed in close contact throughout, including coordinating both parties with the title company through close of escrow -- and there was never any question that he was representing both parties fairly and without favor. In a thirty-year career managing construction contracts I negotiated hundreds of deals, large and small. I never closed a deal that felt more like a ?win-win-win? than this one. Alex gets my highest recommendation ? if I were ever going to sell my current home, he would be the first person I would call.
