Selling a home is a significant financial decision. Based on my experience with Janine Wuschke of Keller Williams, I was very disappointed. I hired Janine on a neighbors glowing recommendation, but later learned that they had a business relationship, which I considered a potential conflict of interest. From my perspective, her apparent unfamiliarity with the Salisbury Beach market resulted in potentially detrimental advice regarding pricing strategy. She presented impressive marketing materials and demonstrated a solid understanding of real estate, but my specific needs for selling the property were not met. Before my house was even listed, she claimed we had a great offer, but it would have benefited her with a quick sale rather than me as the seller. By declining the offer and setting my own listing price, I sold it for $24,000 more than the early offer. Additionally, she recommended a contractor for inspection-related repairs, who did not come to inspect the work, sent a quote via text, and was extremely unprofessional in his communication. I saved about $1,800 by hiring my own service providers. During the week of closing, my real estate attorney informed me that she was unaware I had a mortgage, despite my having provided all the required documentation to Janine. Thankfully, my attorney stepped in and handled the matter with the bank in preparing for the closing. Overall, I found it necessary to advocate for myself throughout the process rather than relying on my agent, which became an increasingly frustrating relationship.

Janine was awesome to work with. I had put out a Facebook posting asking for local realtors, and she was the first one that reached out and the only one that stayed in touch. The town we sold in is her hometown so she had good knowledge of the town and we know a lot of the same people Two others told me they were on vacation and I needed to contact them in two weeks. Janine has everything down to a science, from getting the listing setup to getting professional pictures of the home taken. The home was listed on a Thursday and by Monday we had multiple offers, one of which we accepted. Even during a pandemic and us relocating, she was still able to get the deal to go thru, over asking price. Have already referred her to someone else for help purchasing a new home.
