She has experience both in realty and in lending, so not only could she tell me what to look for in a property, she could also tell me the sorts of things appraisers look for, whether or not a property might require a special loan, and so on. She's very active in the south-central Indiana market and has a lot of insight into issues like resale value and property taxes. On a personal level, Janet is very down-to-earth and has a warm disposition. She's not pushy at all and never made me feel rushed. I felt like I got her honest, unvarnished opinion on the different properties we visited and the contract terms to which I eventually agreed. She was very responsive to text/email and took the time to talk through issues as they arose. As a first time home buyer, I really appreciated Janet's ability to explain things very clearly. I will strongly recommend Janet to friends and colleagues.
