I have been licensed since 1990, so I have worked with many clients. I was as a top producer in the East of the Cooper market, which includes primarily, Mt. Pleasesant, Sullivans Island, and Isle of Palms. As I got older, I chose to take care of family, but continued to work as a mortgage originator as it was a job I could do from home. I have personally invested in real estate, and enjoyed the benefits of both short term vacation rentals as well as long term rentals and land. I began working the Edisto Island market in 2017 when I moved here full time. I especially love working with sellers as I so enjoy the marketing aspect of the job.

I have had several clients recently who have wanted properties in a particular area. Our inventory has been way down so choices are very limited. I love the hunt of finding the property, which usually means lots of time on the phone or talking to folks. If you keep looking, you can eventually find the perfect property. It is such a joy to find the perfect property for the buyer and then be able to work with all parties in the transaction. Obviously, the money is better too!!

As a retail banker and branch manager in the Charleston area, I would routinely talk with the realtors who worked the Kiawah and Seabrook territories. I got to know them and saw some of their commission checks. I figured if they could do it, I could probably do it better.
