We hired Jamie in April 2016 to sell our home in Elizabethtown. In four months, we had a few showings and received one offer, which was unacceptable. We were very discouraged, because we were told the market in our area was hot. We were offering a high quality home in a very good neighborhood with little interest. We finally confronted Jamie after finding out on our own that our home was not being advertised in our area. He admitted it was too expensive to advertise in our area and it was not being advertised in the area. Had he been up front with us from the beginning, we would have not have hired him. Why would anyone hire a realtor who doesnt advertise in the homes immediate area? We immediately went with a local realtor. This was in mid August. Immediately (the first day) the house had showings; sometimes 2 or 3 in one day. Two weeks from the day we signed with the local realtor, we got an acceptable offer. The house has since sold at a very good and fair price.
