What to Expect from our Team If you have purchased a home in the past, you will already have an idea of what to expect for paperwork, utilities, and moving. Whether this is your first purchase or your 10th, we are here to make the process as smooth as possible. We will keep you informed... Below are some things to know about how our team works and what you can expect from working with us. Our Role: As Realtors(R), we stay knowledgeable about the real estate market and trends. This is crucial to find the right home in the right location for our clients, but also in providing the information needed to make good choices about what to offer for a property. Negotiating details of the purchase is a large part of what we do, and another reason we stay up to date with the market. As an agent, our fiduciary responsibility is to you. We are looking out for your best interest through the entire transaction process. Your Role: We will always give you the benefit of our experience and expertise, however, throughout the process, the final decisions are yours. Buying a home is a large monetary and emotional investment and you are the best expert on what meets the needs and financial goals of you and your family. Ask questions, voice concerns, and let us know what you need, so we can serve you best. Communication: We always strive to respond promptly to emails and calls. There will be times when we are with a client or away from our desk, but we will respond as soon as possible. Please be sure to check your email frequently. We use email correspondences throughout the home buying process. Agent Hours: We will always strive to respond to any inquiries promptly. We generally return calls or emails after 9 a.m. and before 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday.Unless there is an emergency, or an appointment is made in advance, we will return calls or emails that we receive over the weekend, in order, first thing Monday. Heitz Team Assistant: Our Team Assistant will be available to assist with the paperwork and details needed to get you to a smooth closing. You will be hearing from her by email or phone at various times throughout the process with information that you will need. Her hours are 8:30-5:30 Monday through Friday.
