Every seller’s goals are different, so I start by meeting in person to create a customized plan that highlights your home’s best features and helps it stand out. Some general advice I give my seller clients: 1. Declutter and depersonalize so buyers can picture themselves in the space. 2. Deep clean every room, this makes a big impact on first impressions. 3. Add a fresh coat of paint where needed. 4. Power wash siding, decks, porches, and sheds. 5. Freshen up landscaping and add pops of color to boost curb appeal when possible.

I have several so its hard to pick just one. One of my many favorites was helping a long-time homeowner sell their family home after 40 years. It was emotional but rewarding to guide them through every step, coordinate updates, and secure multiple offers in just a few days. Moments like that remind me why I love what I do.

I’ve wanted to be a Realtor for as long as I can remember. Before getting licensed, I worked at a credit union where I managed and trained others on retirement accounts for several years. I loved helping people make informed decisions about their financial future, and real estate often came up as part of those conversations since a home is one of the biggest investments most people make. Over time, I realized my passion for helping people through those major life decisions naturally aligned with a career in real estate. When the timing was right, I finally made the leap in 2017 and it quickly became more than a career, it became my passion.

Yes. I stay active in professional development and have served on both the East Central Iowa Association of REALTORS® and the Iowa Association of REALTORS® boards. I also continue to serve on several committees within each organization. Staying involved at both the local and state level helps me stay on top of market trends, best practices, and industry changes. My clients benefit from that knowledge, as well as my strong network and commitment to clear communication throughout every transaction
