    About James Rowlett

Whether buying or selling, his market insight and no nonsense approach ensures that his clients are informed and confident during every step of the transaction. James' focus, tenacity, and above all else, his honesty are second to none. Within 3 years of being in the industry, James Rowlett rose to one of the top producing agents in Texas, with $10.8MM in sales in just his 2nd year alone. 2019 was his 3rd year in the business. During this time, James created a team, received the RE/MAX Top 500 Award and was ranked in the Top 250 Agents in Texas, and finished the year with $17.4MM in sales. Perhaps surprisingly, much of James' 27 year career was not spent in real estate, but in the offshore oil and gas industry. He was an engineering consultant who managed subsea control systems for projects in the Gulf of Mexico that ranged up to $6+ billion. His attention to detail, ability to see the big picture, and manage multiple vendors gives him an experience that you won't find in many agents. The offshore industry offered a fast paced and challenging career (not that real estate doesn't as well), but working in real estate allows James to take his children to school in the morning, and see his family every night. It's the "little" things in life that are actually the "big" things that we sometimes miss. James is a graduate of Texas A&M University. The father of three children and married for 18 years, James and is wife, Becky, have lived in the NW Houston area for over 17 years.

    James took the time to explain the entire buying and selling process for the house we bought and the house the we sold. He was responsive, answering all our questions honestly.     We couldnt be happier when we were referred to James by a friend of ours. James was always very professional, guided us through the process of selling our previous home to buying our current home. He gave us great advice on what we needed to do to prior to putting our house on the market. He always called or texted us back every time we had a question. With the current COVID situation, he was always able to make appointments so we could view the properties. James always listened to what we had to say, what we were looking for in a house and showed us multiple properties until we decided on one. We would definitely recommend James as Realtor for anyone looking for one as he did a great job for us.
