James Kil

I'm James Kil, native-born San Franciscan where I attended St. Anne's, Archbishop Riordan, and San Francisco State University. My entire career has been spent in finance - specifically mortgages and loans. I began by specializing in credit risk mitigation and eventually found myself with Wells Fargo's mortgage underwriting department. With 15 years of experience under my belt, I was blessed with an opportunity to join a Capital Markets team as an associate where I honed my expertise in property underwriting and analysis, finance line management, and whole loan trading. I personally believe that I had a modest upbringing. My parents leased a stand in a flea market to upkeep tuition and housing costs, so I was aware of the hardships and stresses of maintaining a place to call "home." Though a "home" is subjective, the multi-layers and facets of how Real Estate affects its owners, tenants, neighborhoods, zip codes, lenders, Wall St., and the government is a remarkable reflection of how intertwined a single home is to the world, and I would be honored to guide you through becoming a keystone to this beautiful network.
