About James Gean
As a proud member of the James Silver Team, my role as a Listing Agent is to work closely with homeowners to help them sell their homes. Our process begins by ensuring that the property is market-ready, which involves conducting a detailed analysis of the property's value through comparative market analysis. We strive to strike a balance between a decent profit for the seller and a great deal for the buyer, ensuring that the home is priced appropriately to sell within 30 to 45 days of listing. Our listings are syndicated across over 350 different websites and various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram, to attract as much attention as possible. We understand that selling a home can be a daunting task, which is why we take pride in providing exceptional service to all our clients. Our team of experienced real estate professionals is dedicated to making the process as seamless as possible. In addition to listings, I can also assist buyers in finding and negotiating offers on properties, follow up with selling brokers, and help coordinate and attend closings. We understand that buying or selling a home is a significant life event, and we are committed to providing personalized and exceptional service to all our clients. Our team is composed of the best and brightest in the industry, continuously striving to lead the field in research, innovation, and consumer education. FAQ
Your first step is to contact me. I will then help you find a mortgage professional who will guide you through your financing options.
It's always best to find out how much home you can afford before driving around looking at homes that may be out of your price range.
Selling your home can be a very emotional event. Therefore, it is always best to heed the advice of a professional Realtor who is not emotionally attached. Other than that, there are lots of ways to make sure your home is ready for the market like making sure repairs are made and the house stays very neat and clean for potential buyers. There's much more involved. A personalized consultation is the best thing to do before listing.
I have worked with Families, individuals, Investors, Landlords, Local and Out-of-State Sellers. One of my clients wanted to buy a home but had a recent foreclosure. So, I found the perfect solution by locating a home that was available for lease with an option to buy. Another client had some difficulty keeping up with mortgage payments. The solution there was to sell the home as a short-sale. My goal is to find solutions for any situation.
I help a family who lived in Detroit near McNichols (Six Mile Rd) and Gratiot. They wanted to move somewhere between Roseville and Mt. Clemens. Buying their new home was subject to selling the one they lived in. After looking at several homes, we finally found what they were looking for in Roseville. We coordinated the sale of their home with a buyer from California and they were extremely happy to move into their new home.
I started out with occupancy inspection - taking photos of foreclosed homes and determining whether or not someone lived in the house. From there, I started working with additional foreclosure services including changing the locks on foreclosed homes, inspecting for damages, making some small repairs and placing real estate signs in the yards of homes that were being sold by REO Realtors. Eventually, in 2011, I decided to take the pre-licensing class and get my real estate license.
I have training in home inspections and I am also a licensed residential builder.
