James Dolezalek

I was born and raised in Grayson County where I grew up working the family farm, playing football, and working on restoring classic cars with my dad. I graduated from S & S High School and raised my own family in this area. After my children were raised, I decided to fulfill my lifelong interest in pursuing a career that would allow me to help people. I joined the United States Army, trained as a combat medic and was then selected to go through the army nursing program at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. After completing the nursing program, I was sent to Ft. Lewis, Washington where I worked as a nurse at Madigan Army Medical Center. In October of 2011, I moved to reserve status and moved back to Sherman, TX where I have worked as a full time nurse for Carrus Specialty Hospital for the last 4 years. Nursing is a wonderful career and I will continue with my service as an army nurse, but I was ready to set some new goals and try something new. With encouragement from my lifelong friend, Lisa Hitchcock, I decided that I could combine my passion to work with people with my love for this community and help them find their dream home or the perfect piece of Texas land upon which to build. My hobbies include dirt track racing, gardening, and physical fitness. I am an avid fan of Texas country music, the outdoors, and dogs. My goal is to one day be able to look back on my life journey and know that I have helped people live the American dream in this great state of ours.
