I was looking to upgrade from my apartment, where the rent was increased substantially each year, to a house that would be within a short commuting distance from work. Jake was able to help me find such a house and even close at a price well below the current market prices. When searching for a buyer's agent, I was looking for someone licensed and well established in the Boise area with several years of experience in the real estate business. As a first time homebuyer, I wanted an experienced agent who was willing to work closely with me to search out promising house options, promptly respond to all of my many questions, identify potential pitfalls of listed properties, and generally guide me successfully through the home buying process without being pushy or pressuring me to close quickly on the first house to pop up. Jake fulfilled all of these criteria and did an excellent job keeping me informed throughout the entire process. I would also recommend the Templeton Real Estate Group because they seem to focus more on delivering highly professional, quality service than just trying to achieve a large volume of house sales. Jake, for example, was willing to negotiate with sellers to get me a favorable deal and worked hard to close on my current house even when a couple of unforeseen events caused uncertainty and several months delay in the process. I appreciated the fact that he was willing to stick with me on the house that I wanted instead of trying to push other property listings that would have meant a quicker closing date and payout for him. All throughout the process, Jake offered helpful advice and made sure he understood what direction I wanted to take for each decision. He worked hard to make my first time homebuyer's experience as smooth and positive an experience as he could.
