ZillowVERIFIEDI'm not one for reviews, but after working with Jake as the listing agent for a renovated home in Lakewood, I had to write this review. At first, Jake came off as a relaxed and approachable, but as soon as we went under contract things changed. We had Viking Inspections inspect the property, and received images and a write-up that stated there are active subterranean termites in the foundation and that the roof was in desperate need of a full replacement. At word of this, Jake became hostile and unapproachable. Jake would also delete all communication and reports of the termite damage, so that the owner would not have to state that there is any knowledge of previous termite issues. We have on recording Jake acknowledging there is in fact termite damage, but he will not disclose it on this listing that just went back active on the MLS and has an open house on 4/7/24. Now knowing this, I would advise any owner, realtor representing their clients, or prospective homebuyer to look elsewhere when dealing with Jake. By hiding any deficiencies in a home, he is only acting in his best interest and not in the seller or buyer. A respectable and reasonable realtor would listen to a homebuyers reports and inspections rather than discredit them and ignore them. My wife and I as first time homebuyers hope no one buys this home without willingly knowing that the roof is in desperate need of replacement and multiple beams and joists are rotted out through the active subterranean termite infestation. The wood is in fact soft and crumbles at the slightest touch. Avoid working with Jake on both the buy/sell side.
