Ivy Barksdale

The daughter of a former real estate broker in Tennessee, Ivy Barksdale has always had an interest in real estate sales and investments. Her initial career path of electrical engineering brought her to Lexington in 1984 to work for IBM and later Lexmark. In 2005 she left the corporate world behind to spend more time with her family. During that time she decided she would follow in her father's footsteps and pursue a career in real estate. In 2009 she obtained her real estate license and began work with her former co-worker and friend, the late Phyllis Alexander at Guide Realty.Ivy is currently working towards her MBA degree in real estate.

Ivy's primary purpose in pursuing a career in real estate is to help others find a home or property to fulfill their real estate dreams. She does this by providing clients with the information and education they need to understand the various aspects of home and property ownership so they can make solid decisions.
