At only 15 years of age, she got her first job as a sales associate at a very hip and trendy apparel store. Although she was the youngest employee, she hit sales records and was awarded various certificates for excellence in customer service. Ilia went on to acquire her bachelor's degree in business administration from University of Puerto Rico, concentrating on her passion, marketing. She then worked as a sales executive for Puerto Rico's Tourism Bienvenidos magazine. After moving to Condado in 2001, Ilia discovered her passion for real estate. That same year she got her real estate license and went on to work for Tiri Real Estate Condado for two years, hitting the one million dollar sales mark during her first 18 months. In 2004, besides working closely with buyers and sellers, she started investing in real estate properties for residential development and for flipping. She now has one more agent assisting her and is planning to hire more in the near future to be able to meet the demands of a growing market.
