Have your financing done before you start. Doing so will give you an exact idea of the price range in which you will be looking for your dream home. We hate when a client see's a home and falls in love and then can't get the financing for the amount the home is listed for.
Making your home tidy is a key factor. Removal of all personal pictures etc. When a buyer comes into the home they want to imagine it as theirs and with personal things hanging on walls etc makes it difficult. Having counter tops clear from appliances and such will make your pictures pop.
I have worked with all types. People wanting to buy large acreage, buying a home in a subdivision, rentals, investments and commercial property buyers. I enjoy meeting people from all over.
I had a client that was looking for acreage but didn't know exactly where he wanted it to be. I met with him and his family every weekend for over a month driving in a radius of 2 hrs from my home. I became like part of the family by the time we found the right property. We would all sit down to lunch and discuss what they did or didn't like of the property after our showings. Great memories.
I was in the medical field for over 21 yrs and my husband was a real estate agent. Basically I was burned out and he talked me into going into real estate. I absolutely love it and have no regrets.
I really don't have anymore education than the next real estate agent. I can say I have an awesome broker and husband (agent) that both have taught me very well. I am the type of person that if I don't know something I won't act like I know and I will find out the answer. We are never to smart or old to learn something.
