We are in the perfect house for us because of Heidi! After casually meeting at an open house, talking for almost and hour, and taking her business card, it was within the next hour that we called her asking to help us put an offer on a house. As millennial first time homebuyers, we were not at all prepared to put an offer in, but she was incredibly patient and consultative with us as we scrambled to get our paperwork together to put an offer in. While we lost the first offer due to an overly competitive situation, we gained Heidi as our partner and agent over the next few months in our search. Heidi took us under her wing from then on and not only showed us houses before they were listed, but also helped us fall more in love with Port Washington with her local recommendations and knowledge. So took the train out from Brooklyn to see the house. Once again Heidi was right aEUR" the house was perfect for us. Trusting her guidance and judgement, we put in a below-ask offer which, from her relationships and negotiation skills, was accepted and we got OUR house at a price we could manage. Not even a year from when we first met Heidi, we are now in a wonderful house and can proudly call Heidi our agent, neighbor, and friend. Heidi did a great job of steering us through the process of selling our home. She got us moving early to get the house ready to put on the market, including minor touch-up projects to increase the houses appeal and making sure that issues that might surface later (such as open permits) were addressed at the outset. She also had great ideas for putting the house in its best light when it came time to start showing it. She showed a broad and deep understanding of what buyers in our market are looking for and how to position a house in the best way to appeal to them. Heidi was highly organized and ran a very disciplined process, which helped us to stay on track. Her pricing advice was right on, and ultimately we got a very good price for the house.
