About Heather Holmes
I am your local real estate agent Heather Holmes! I serve both Summit and Stark counties. I am passionate for helping people find the perfect home, and I am committed to providing my clients with the best possible service. I also enjoy working with investors to expand or downsize their portfolios. I have a Masters Degree in the science of education. I went on to pursue my dreams as a real estate agent after teaching third grade for six years. In my studies, I learned about all aspects of the real estate industry, including market analysis, financing, contract law, and negotiation. I also gained experience in real estate investing and property management. My hobbies include refinishing furniture, mountain biking, hiking, running, traveling, and just being outside. A recent transaction I completed was a couple buying their first home ever together. They were stressed about their timeline and concerned they were not going to find the right one before Christmas. Finally the right one came around. We did our research and we wrote a competitive offer to win a multiple offer situation. The buyers were able to move in just in time to celebrate their first Christmas in their new Home Sweet Holmes.
I got started in real estate after teaching third grade for six years. I had my son and wanted more flexibility in my daily schedule but still had a want to help others. I always had an interest in real estate so it just made sense.
I am constantly continuing my education to find new ways to better service my clients. I also do a lot of networking to connect my clients to any contractors that may benefit them.
