Keowee, Hartwell and Jocassee are our public lakes as well as Chattooga, Crystal, Becky, Whitewater, Fiddlers Cove and Cherokee are our private lakes. We have 80 waterfalls in the county and over 500 with in an hours drive.

We have 150 miles of hiking trails in the county. Great fishing, 10 golf courses and plenty of weekly activities to get involved with.

Our library system is one of the best. over 60,000 books per month are checked out. We have about 30 computers for public use, daily newspapers and magazies for all interests.

Our property values are good, our taxes are low and the general cost of living here is low.
