We were referred to Cristy and Guy a few years back, and they ended up executing two transactions for us in Zephyr Cove, Nevada. Both transactions closed successfully, and were priced optimally. The final price of a sale is largely a function of market conditions and timing, but we believe the listing price is almost as critical in introducing the property to the market, and Cristy and Guy nailed it. We can attest that they cared deeply about our interests and objectives, and are consummate client service professionals aEUR" they pay attention to every comment, every nuance, and every piece of detail and background information offered. They are extremely thorough, and will hold your hand through the entire process, buying or selling - it was like doing business with a close friend or relative. Like any transaction, there were a couple of hickups along the way, but Cristy and Guy ironed them out proactively, ensuring a smooth and timely closing. Finally, they communicate proactively and effectively (but not excessively), and were always reachable when needed or returned calls, texts and emails quickly. To use a golf term, Crisy and Guy ham and egg it pretty well, and are a formidable duo that complement each other nicely. I would recommend them to anyone interested in the Reno/South Lake Tahoe region.

I recently bought my first home, and Guy Johnson & Cristy Silverman made the process super easy! Ive contacted them directly through Zillow to set up a tour for a listing. I talked to Cristy over the phone - she was super friendly and made it easy to schedule a time for the tour. On that planned tour, I met with Guy. I had a few real estate agent recommendations from friends and coworkers, but I decided to work with Guy and Cristy after talking & meeting with them. I liked them because they seemed genuine and cared to help their clients more than just making the sale. Since it was my first time going through the process, I wanted to work with people I could trust and be comfortable with. Considering how hot the housing market is, I expected the process of finding and buying a home to take a long time. However, with the combination of good agents and a little bit of luck, I have found the perfect place (it was the 3rd listing Ive toured) and was able to purchase it with no complications. Throughout the process, both Guy and Cristy were super helpful and informative. There were many things that I did not know, but they were able to educate me, share their thoughts, and still let me be in control of all the decisions. They also did a great job handling the communication and status updates between the seller, the title company, and the mortgage lender. I felt very reassured with Guy and Cristy, and I would highly recommend both of them!

I have bought and sold a lot of properties and my experience with Guy Johnson was unparalleled compared to the others. From the very beginning, Guy was available and responsive to everything I asked for. With all the inspections and reports that were required, Guy was on site to meet them whenever necessary. He also kept me informed and checked back with me regularly to make sure I didn't forget anything. He referred me to several specialty vendors that I eventually used to make modifications to the property after purchase. I would highly recommend Guy for any buyer looking for a property in the Reno area.
